Itinerary

Phong Nha Cave is located within Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park’s core zone region. It was discovered by Champa people in the 16th century. This beautiful cave should be your first stop when visiting this national park. It is famous not only as a natural wonder of the world or a Vietnam marvel, but also as a shelter and a hospital during the American War. Furthermore, this location has become the start of Ho Chi Minh trails. As a result, visiting Phong Nha implies hiking these renowned routes.

Mooc Spring is tucked away in the jungle, just off the main road of the national park loop. Come to this stream, you may creep under the cover of the forest, listening to birds sing, streams, specially to experience the peaceful moments of comfort while submerged in cool water. PHONG NHA CAVE AND MOOC SPRING – PRIVATE TOUR

7.30 AM – 8:00 AM: Your private driver will pick you up at your hotel in Dong Hoi City and will depart for Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.

You’ll arrive to Phong Nha cave by taking a small wooden boat over the peaceful Son River, where you’ll be surrounded by stunning karst mountains and rich green flora. After entering the cave via boat, you’ll have to walk 300 meters inside Phong Nha Cave.

Explore Phong Nha Cave and take in the beautiful river and mountain vistas. You can find numerous amazing rock formations such as the “Lion,” “Fairy Caves,” “Royal Court,” and “Buddha”. The stalactites and stalagmites that cut across the cave seem like a gigantic monster’s fangs. As one walks deeper into the cave, the stalactites and stalagmites become more dazzling when bright light is focused on them.

The Shallow Cave, located 800 meters from the cave’s entrance, has a magnificent sand and rock setting. Stalactites and stalagmites appear from the ground like strange trees, piqueing the interest of travelers.

By traveling through the dry tunnel, you may get back to the dragon boat station.

12:00 PM: Have lunch at a local restaurant and take a little break before traveling to Mooc Spring.

Mooc Spring is a source of pure water that rises from the mountain’s foot and flows to the Chay River. In the summer, the water temperature ranges between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius. The lyrical sceneries are created by the stream, which is divided into numerous smaller currents of water by large moss-covered boulders. Zip lines, hanging bridges, and boats are among the activities available. Mooc Stream is an excellent place to explore the animals, relax, and wallow in the cold water.
