Itinerary

My Tho and Ben Tre Tour:

My Tho is the capital city of Tien Giang Province which is one of the provinces located in the Mekong Delta. My Tho has a long history which makes the city more interesting other than the fact that it is part of the famous Mekong Delta. Chinese refugees flee to My Tho in the 1680s then the area became part of the Khmer Empire until eventually taken by Vietnam in the 18th century.  Today, My Tho is one of the most visited cities along the Mekong Delta and also for its great tasting rice noodle soup called “hủ tiếu Mỹ Tho”.

Connected by a bridge to the bustling market of My Tho is Ben Tre. Ben Tre is a coastal province in the Mekong Delta which is known for Vam Ho Bird Sanctuary, the colonial Ben Tre Museum that exhibits artifacts and photos of Vietnam’s revolutionary history and the breathtaking Vien Minh Pagoda.

Beautiful landscape on the road

On the way to My Tho, visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rice fields, the peaceful Vam Co Dong river and the busy town of Long An.

Vinh Trang Pagoda

Vinh Trang Pagoda is a famous Buddhist temple in the Mekong Delta. The serene pagoda of Tien Giang Province was constructed with consideration of its surrounding, harmoniously mixing Asian and European architecture. To add to its already beautiful structure, Vinh Trang Pagoda is surrounded with ornamental trees, ancient trees and bonsai.

Boat Ride

Enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the river and witness the wonderful sight of Southern Vietnamese rustic life with local in their stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages.

Tortoise Island

 Tortoise Island is a beautiful natural spot in My Tho that is ideal for a short trek through some winding trails. Lunch will be hosted in an orchard garden within the islet.

An Khanh Tourist Village

Cruise on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along the natural canals in Ben Tre. At one point, visitors can enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea while listening to the soothing sound of Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals.

Small Coconut Candy Factory

Discover a small family owned coconut candy factory in a village and enjoy walks around the garden while munching some coconut candy and seasonal fruits.

•  1 day before departure day : 50% of the tour price
•  Cancel after 12 hours, we will charge 100%
