In the morning:
8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from hotel in old quarter and drive to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda.
Tran Quoc pagoda is located on an island east of West Lake (Tay Ho district). It was constructed in 541 and completed in 545 under the reign of King Ly Nam De. With a history of over a thousand years, it used to be the capital of Buddhism during the Tran dynasty and now considered as a symbol of Hanoi capital, both in the past and today.
9h15: You will visit Ho Chi Minh complex including Ho Chi Minh museum, Presidential palace, Stilt houses, where tourists will learn what he has done for Vietnam and some other countries and learn all kinds of information about president HCM.
10h45: The next place is Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. It was established in recognition of the multi-ethnicity of the country and the need to promote its socio-cultural diversity. You will have a great chance to know about culture, custom, languages, and houses of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
In the afternoon:
12h15: You will enjoy the lunch with local food
13h30: After lunch, you will visit the temple of literature, which is an ancient school of Thang Long and the first university in Vietnam. It is known as an ancient historical-cultural heritage which gives tourists deeper understanding about Hanoi’s years of culture and tradition.
14h45: Visit Hoa Lo prison relic – one of the highest and strongest political prison in Indochina at that time. It was built by the French in 1896 and was intended to contain only 450 people. But the number of detainees grew to as much as 2,000 by the 1930s, most of them were Vietnamese political prisoners.
15h30 – 16h00: You will come back hotel and end of your Ha Noi City Tour. Say goodbye and see you again.
